About Mind Tec

Mind Tec was founded by Ruth Olmstead PhD in 2004. Her goal was and is to provide a drug-free treatment alternative for people suffering from ADD/ADHD, learning disabilities, sleep disorders, anxiety, depression, stress, physical and emotional trauma, headache/migraine and chronic pain.

Dr. Olmstead is a pioneer in the research and application of Audio Visual Stimulation systems (Mind Machines). Her groundbreaking work in this field is widely published and considered among the most important works detailing the beneficial effects of mind machines on children and adults with the conditions mentioned above (read the details of her research here).

On this site you will find two premium models of Audio Visual Stimulation systems available for sale. Both these models contain programs written and researched by Dr. Olmstead herself, and were selected for this site for that reason.
There are many "mind machines" available on the interenet - most are offered by individuals who know nothing about the product they're selling. About Auditory and Visual Stimulation (AVS) Therapy

Auditory and Visual Stimulation (AVS) is a new, drug-free technique that uses Auditory and Visual Stimulation for relaxation or brain stimulation. Although there has been much research in the many applications of this technique, it is not yet an approved treatment by the American Psychological Association or the American Medical Association.
This technique can be extremely therapeutic for persons suffering from headache, migraine, head injury, some neurological disorders, learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia and many other stress-related disorders.
